intramolecular charge transfer (ICT)

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.IT07401
Process that changes the overall charge distribution in a molecule.
Note:
For @I03130@ charge transfer in the @E02257@, several models are discussed in the literature based on the molecular structure of the final state reached upon photo-induced ICT: @PT07418@ (PICT) or @T06537@ (TICT). For example, an ICT has been proposed to be responsible for the strongly @S06031@ additional @F02453@ band in fluorescent molecules with two @F02453@ bands (@DT07365@ molecules).
