ligases (synthetases)
@E02159@ that catalyse the ligation of two molecules with concomitant @H02902@ of the pyrophosphate bond in adenosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP) or a similar triphosphate, forming C–C , C–O , C–S , P–O or C–N bonds. In @D01579@, ligases covalently join together two sequences of @D01597@ (e.g. @H02859@ @D01597@ and foreign @D01597@) by a phosphodiester bond.
