A medium emitting with a @Q04991@ independent of the @E02250@ over a defined spectral range (e.g, concentrated rhodamine 6G solutions between \(300\) and \(600\ \text{nm}\)). Also used for devices producing an electrical signal proportional to the @P04636@ absorbed in a medium.
