In linear-sweep voltammetry and related techniques, the empirical quantity defined by the equation $\frac{i_{p}}{A\ \sqrt{\nu}\ c_{\text{B}}}\quad \left(=\frac{j_{p}}{\sqrt{\nu}\ c_{\text{B}}}\right)$ where $$i_{p}$$ is the @P04457@, A is the area of the electrode-solution @I03082@, $$\nu$$ is the rate of change of @A00424@, and $$c_{\text{B}}$$ is the bulk concentration of the substance B whose reduction or @O04362@ is responsible for the peak in question.
