Electrically conducting polymer composite that, however, is conducting only when pressed due to thinning the insulating polymer matrix membranes so much that they allow
electron tunneling through them.
Note: Quantum tunneling polymer composites are utilized as pressure
sensors and touchable control panels of electronic devices.
