Definition:
A material consisting essentially of graphitic carbon.

Note: The use of the term @G02684@ as a short term for material consisting of @G02689@ is incorrect. The term @G02684@ can only be used in combination with other nouns or clarifying adjectives for special types of @G02684@ materials (@G02684@ electrodes, @N04088@ and others). The use of the term @G02684@ without a noun or clarifying adjective should be restricted to the allotropic form of the element carbon.
