Term: polymer sorbent

Definition:
Polymer that adsorbs or absorbs a certain substance or certain substances from a liquid or a gas.

Note: A polymer sorbent may be a polymer @A00153@ or a polymer absorbent. The former acts by surface sorption and the latter by bulk sorption.
