Note: Magnetization is transferred from ${\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{1}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}1}\mathrm{H}\mathrm{\alpha }$ and ${\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{1}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}1}\mathrm{H}\mathrm{\beta }$ to ${\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{13}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}13}\mathrm{C}\mathrm{\alpha }$ and ${\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{13}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}13}\mathrm{C}\mathrm{\beta }$, respectively, and then from ${\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{13}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}13}\mathrm{C}\mathrm{\beta }$ to ${\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{13}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}13}\mathrm{C}\mathrm{\alpha }$. From here it is transferred first to ${\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{15}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}15}\mathrm{NH}$ and then to ${\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{1}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}1}\mathrm{HN}$ for detection. For each $\mathrm{NH}$ group there are two $\mathrm{C}\mathrm{\alpha }$ and $\mathrm{C}\mathrm{\beta }$ peaks visible. Along with the CBCA(CO)NH and HSQC this forms the standard set of experiments needed for backbone assignment.
