Polymer or @O04283@ the molecules of which each have one @E02092@ that acts as a @M04019@, so that each polymer or @O04286@ contributes only a single @M04018@ to a chain of the product polymer.
Notes:
  1. The @H02855@ or @C01336@ of a macromonomer yields a comb or @G02679@.
  2. Macromonomers are also sometimes referred to as macromers. The use of the term 'macromer' is strongly discouraged.
