thermally-induced transition

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.T06306
A transition that is induced by a change in temperature. Example: RbNO3 undergoes three @S06062@ below \(573\ \text{K}\):
  1. trigonal → CsCl-type structure at \(439\ \text{K}\),
  2. CsCl-type → hexagonal structure at \(501\ \text{K}\), and
  3. hexagonal structure → NaCl-type structure at \(551\ \text{K}\).
