upper limit of measurement

in atmospheric trace component analysis
Highest value of the air quality characteristic which can be measured by an instrument; its variations, caused for example by instability, are expected to lie within specified limits. The difference between the lower @D01628@ and the upper limit of measurement constitutes the dynamic range of the instrument.
