For a strong and rectangular RF-pulse of constant amplitude ($B_1$) and duration ($t_{\mathrm{p}}$), the resultant flip angle is approximately proportional to the frequency ($f_1$) of the $B_1$ field: $\alpha =\gamma B_1{t}_{\mathrm{p}}$, where $\gamma$ is the gyromagnetic ratio.
