Three-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy for the assignment of protein structure with nitrogen, carbon and hydrogen dimensions.

Notes:

the magnetization is transferred from $_{}^{}_{}^{1} H$ to $_{}^{}_{}^{15} N$ and then via the $N - C α J - c o u p l i n g$ to the $_{}^{}_{}^{13} C α$ . From there it is transferred to the $_{}^{}_{}^{13} CO$ via the $_{}^{}_{}^{13} C α -_{}^{}_{}^{13} CO J - c o u p l i n g$ . For detection the magnetization is transferred back the same way: from $_{}^{}_{}^{13} CO$ to $_{}^{}_{}^{13} C α$ , $_{}^{}_{}^{15} N$ and finally $_{}^{}_{}^{1} H$ .
Each $NH$ group will show correlations to both their own and adjacent carbonyls group.
