Ratio expressing the efficiency of a mass conversion process. The yield @C01124@ is defined as the amount of cell mass (\(\pu{kg}\)) or product formed (\(\pu{kg}\),\(\pu{mol}\)) related to the consumed @S06083@ (carbon or nitrogen source or oxygen in \(\pu{kg}\) or \(\pu{moles}\)) or to the intracellular ATP production (\(\pu{moles}\)).
