distortionless enhancement by polarization transfer

acronym: DEPT
https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.08331
Measurement method of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy used for determining the presence of primary, secondary and tertiary heteronuclei.
Notes:
  1. DEPT is a 1D technique which is used typically for A13A2213C.
  2. The DEPT experiment for A13A2213C differentiates between CH, CHA2 and CHA3 groups by variation of the selection angle parameter (the flip angle of the final A1A221H pulse): 135  angle gives all CH and CHA3 in a phase opposite to CHA2; 90  angle gives only CH groups, the others being suppressed; 45  angle gives all carbons with attached protons with the same phase.
